From the beginning of May to the end of September you can enjoy many interesting sports and cultural events in and around Dobbiaco. This is a short description of this summer’s highlights.

23. Cortina-Dobbiaco Run – 04.06.2023
In the heart of the magical world of the Pale Mountains, the Cortina-Dobbiaco Run takes place every year at the beginning of summer. The 30-kilometer long running race starts from the former Olympic town of Cortina and reaches the tourist resort of Dobbiaco in Alta Pusteria.
International Choirfestival – 14.06. – 18.06.2023
The Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival is a non-competitive event that takes place in Val Pusteria (Südtirol / ITALY - Osttirol / AUSTRIA). It has an annual frequency and its program is divided into five days, from Wednesday to Sunday, during the second half of June.
27° edition Dolomiti Superbike – 09.07.2023
Dolomiti Superbike has been on the to-do-list of ambitious mountain bikers all over the world for more than 25 years. The bike race is among those with the highest number of entrants in Europe and enjoys the reputation of being one of the toughest MTB races in South Tyrol and beyond.
16th Innichner Marktlfest Festival July 14.07.2023
It’s again that time: the band of San Candido accompanies the honored guest to the Piazza del Magistrato and the “Marktlfest” in San Candido has started. 25 associations give their best to offer their guests culinary delights and a wide range of musical entertainment.
Night run – 14.08.2023
The go-ahead for this extraordinary running event is done every year on August 14, after sunset. The race crosses the hamlets of Dobbiaco in Alta Pusteria. It's not about the times and the names of the winners, but about having participated and lived together through the pleasure of this amazing event.
24. Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 09.09.2022
The famous mountain run from Sesto to the Rifugio Antonio Locatelli on Saturday 9th September will take place for the 24th time.
12th "Week of the potato" Villabassa – farmer's market 23.09. – 24.09.2023
On Saturday and Sunday, respectively from 10.00 am the farmers of Villabassa and various exhibitors of the valley, will be present at their stands with local products, such as different varieties of potatoes such as Majestic, Désirée and Ukama, red turnips, sauerkraut, autumn vegetables, fruits, apple juice, eggs, honey, other natural fruit juices, cheese and numerous hay milk products, vegetables and bread, sweets, medicinal and aromatic herbs, flowers, salts, various cured meats and of course also „Speck“ (bacon).

Gourmets from all over the world will come together to taste fantastic creations of internationally renowned chefs.
